Kindermusik Village® · Newborn to 1½ years of age Class Description and Times Kindermusik Village consists of eight stimulating units. Each class series runs 15 weeks and includes two units that are taught back-to-back. This Fall the two units offered are Feathers and Do-Si Do. Classes are 45 minutes in length. Feathers The musical poems of Woody Guthrie, bird songs, and the naturally occurring sounds in nature help babies develop an early appreciation, and accelerated aptitude, for language, movement and music. We'll chant, sing and tell stories, encouraging your child's verbal development, and play age old games like follow the leader, peek-a-boo, and thread the needle. Do-Si-Do Pick up your baby and dance. Do the Charleston, the Tango, and the Cha-Cha and learn why dancing with your baby helps her develop vital learning skills from head to toe. In this eight-week unit, play over 25 unique instruments and home-made activities. Class Fees Tuition for Kindermusik Village is $245.00 for each 15 week series. Fees are prorated for students starting late. A 5% discount is given to siblings and returning students. Please see the registration page for payment options. Included Materials Each class comes with a variety of learning materials, music, instruments or noise makers created to accompany the lessons. Kindermusik shows you how, and encourages you, to use these materials with your child at home.
